Sesungguhnya kiamat itu pasti datang, tidak ada keraguan padanya dan sesungguhnya Allah akan membangkitkan siapa pun yang di dalam kubur. وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يُّجَادِلُ فِى اللّٰهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَّلَا هُدًى وَّلَا كِتٰبٍ مُّنِيْرٍ ۙ. Wa minan-nāsi may yujādilu fillāhi bigairi 'ilmiw wa lā hudaw wa lā kitābim munīr (in).

The meaning of worshipping Allah as it were upon the edge. Mujahid, Qatadah and others said: عَلَى حَرْفٍ. (upon the edge) means, in doubt. Others said that it meant on the edge, such as on the edge or side of a mountain, i.e., (this person) enters Islam on the edge, and if he finds what he likes he will continue, otherwise he will leave.

١١. Dan ada di antara manusia yang menyembah Allah dengan sikap dan pendirian yang tidak tetap, iaitu kalau ia beroleh kebaikan, senanglah hatinya dengan keadaan itu; dan kalau pula ia ditimpa fitnah kesusahan, berbaliklah ia semula (kepada kekufurannya). (Dengan sikapnya itu) rugilah ia akan dunia dan akhirat, itulah kerugian yang terang nyata.
